This page is Periplo's public-facing notice under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (the "Digital Services Act", or "DSA"). It provides the points of contact required for communications with users and with EU Member State authorities, and a plain-language overview of our transparency obligations.
EU Member State authorities, the European Commission, and the European Board for Digital Services may contact Periplo in connection with the application of the DSA at the following electronic address:
Communications should be sent in writing. Requests that are not clearly marked as DSA authority communications will be handled through our standard support channel and may take longer to reach the designated point of contact.
Users (recipients of the service) can contact Periplo directly, without automated tools, regarding DSA-related matters including moderation of content, account restrictions, or questions about our terms:
You can choose any means of communication, provided it is not exclusively based on automated tools. Inquiries are handled by a human.
A legal representative under Art. 13 is required only for providers of intermediary services that do not have an establishment in the Union. Where applicable, the representative's contact details and the Member State of residence or establishment will be published here.
If you are an EU authority and require a physical address or representative details not listed on this page, contact us using the Art. 11 point of contact above and we will respond promptly.
Periplo does not host user-generated public content in the ordinary sense: the service generates personalized trip itineraries for individual users, and sharing is opt-in and peer-to-peer (you choose to share a specific itinerary with specific people). We nonetheless handle notices that content distributed through our service is illegal:
Our Terms of Service describe the rules applicable to the service, including acceptable use and our right to restrict accounts. We apply these rules in a diligent, objective, and proportionate manner, with due regard for the rights and legitimate interests of all parties involved, including fundamental rights under the EU Charter.
Periplo is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We apply appropriate safeguards as described in the Privacy Policy.
As a micro enterprise under Art. 15(2) DSA, Periplo is currently exempt from the annual transparency-reporting obligation. If the service grows beyond the micro-enterprise threshold, an annual transparency report will be published on this page.
